Message in a Bottle
The bottled water industry consists of four big players: Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Pepsico, and Danone. All do a very good job at convincing the public that bottled water is a safer option than tap water. However, 40% of the time, bottled water is nothing but municipal tap water dressed up in a fancy container. This infographic set questions the price of our consumer decisions whenever we buy a bottle of water.
